Supply Chain Volunteer

Opportunity image

This role is within the Impact Directorate in which there are four sub-teams – Supply Chain Management, Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning, Policy/Advocacy and Programme Partnerships. The Impact Directorate is responsible for working with many stakeholders across the value chain and within market sectors to deliver positive change for farmers, workers and communities. We do this through developing strategies to tackle the challenges in producing countries and throughout the supply chain.

We are looking for a volunteer to support account research, new business development, marketing material and commodity account strategies. The Supply Chain Volunteer will experience a variety of different roles during their time at the Fairtrade Foundation to support priority workstreams. This volunteer position is an exciting opportunity to work closely within a central part of the Fairtrade Foundation’s business to contribute towards the development of the UK Fairtrade movement.

Commitment: To be discussed. Ideally we would like to have a volunteer for 1- 3 days per week for 3 months. This can be remote or in the office, depending on what suits the volunteer. This arrangement is not intended to be legally binding or to create a contract.
